Single-player · spherical-planet survival
Land on a living world. Gather what it grows, forge what you need, and fight what it sends — because here, the planet fights back. Every kill and every harvest stokes its Wrath, and Wrath is what wakes the bosses.
What is Planetspite?
No hunger bars to babysit, no filler. You drop onto a real sphere, and everything you do stirs the planet's temper. Play calm and it stays quiet; play greedy and it swarms. Clear its bosses, step through the portal, and do it again on a deadlier world.
Every planet is a full sphere you walk all the way around — terrain hills, biome regions, scattered resources and roaming creatures, rendered by a hand-written WebGL engine.
Gathering and killing raise the planet's Wrath; idling calms it. It drives spawn rate, pack size and creature power — and it's the clock that summons each boss.
Blades, Cleaving, Bludgeon, Polearms, Hurling, Archery, Brawling, Stormcalling and more — each a use-based proficiency from Novice to Grandmaster with its own passives.
One branching research tree unlocks recipes; forge the same blueprint deeper and it comes out stronger. Salvage gear back into materials at the forge.
Campfires, forges, walls, torches, beds and chests. Set your respawn, fence out the swarm, and your whole camp redeploys with you when you advance.
Planet number sets difficulty and unlocks; planet size sets only how populous it is. The deepest ambient fight lands right at the skill cap — fair to the end.
The core loop
Four beats, tightened until there's no fat between them. Each turn of the loop raises the stakes.
Harvest wood, ore, hide and fiber from nodes across the sphere. A short cast bar — move and it cancels.
→Research a recipe, then forge it at the right station. Deeper planets yield stronger versions.
→Kill to level your weapon line and bank Research Points — but every kill feeds the planet's Wrath.
→Wrath wakes the bosses. Fell the last one, step through its portal, and land on a harder world.
Systems
Proficiency is use-based — earned against real threats, never spent. An anti-grind multiplier floors XP from foes you outclass and doubles it against something above you. Hit level 100 and a line's Mastery passive unlocks.
Novice · Adept 21 · Expert 41 · Master 61 · Grandmaster 81 → Mastery @100
Node cost climbs by tier: ◆10 → ◆25 → ◆60 → ◆150 → ◆300 → ◆600
Recipes unlock in one branching research tree. Spend Research Points (from kills, big on bosses) plus a one-time material sample, once the planet can supply the materials.
Worlds & progression
Bosses grow +15% per planet, a shade above your gear's +12%, so an apex always stays a step ahead without turning into a damage sponge. The deepest ambient creature lands at level ~99 — right on the skill cap of 100.
Cemeteries, highlands and ruins carve sub-planet zones that override the local creature pool. Each world reads differently underfoot.
From planet 5, foes stop charging blindly — they circle, leap and flank, sharpening every world deeper.
Each boss takes form the moment Wrath crosses its threshold, erupting from the ground in a 3D vignette. The last kill opens the portal onward.
A local-radar minimap, a spinnable 3D world map, and up to ten named beacons that lay a guide trail to wherever you're headed.
Weapons, multi-slot armor and accessories — amulets, rings, earrings, bracelets — with vs-equipped tooltip comparisons.
Keyboard-and-mouse lock-on combat, or a full touch layout with floating sticks, a battery-saver profile and pinch-zoom menus.
Dive into the full documentation — controls, systems, crafting ladders and every tuneable that governs how deep you can go.
